For The Period Of September 1, 2012 Through August 31, 2013 In An Amount Not To Exceed Three-Hundred And Forty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($348,000) For An Expansion In Service Area Coverage Of The Shotspotter Gunshot Detection System; And 2) Waiving The Competitive Request For Proposals/Qualifications (RFP/Q) Process, The Advertising And Bidding Requirements, And Local And Small Business Enterprise Programs (L/SLB) Provisions For The Proposed Professional Services Agreement With Shotspotter, Inc. 12-0032 A motion was made by Member Reid, seconded by Kaplan, that this matter be *Approve the Recommendation of Staff, and Forward to the Meeting of the Oakland City Council, due back on October 2, 2012 as a Non-Consent item. The motion carried by the following vote: Votes: Councilmember Aye: Kaplan, Vice Mayor Nadel, Member Reid and Chair Kernighan The Committee directed staff to provide a map of locations covered by the existing shotspotter technology and the proposed program expansion area in a supplemental report to the October 2, 2012 City Council.
