The motion carried by the following vote: Votes: Councilmember No: Member De La Fuente Councilmember Aye: Member Kernighan, Member Nadel and Chair Quan The committee directed staff to do the following: 1) Bring back a proposal similar to the Santa Clara system Voluntary Time Off Program; 2) Conduct a survey open to all eligible employees to determine which employees would want to participate in an Early Retirement Program; and 3) Prepare a resolution for Committees review.
