The motion carried by the following vote: Votes: Councilmember Abstained: Chair Nadel and Member Chang Councilmember Aye: Member Kernighan and Member Brooks The Committee directed staff to include contract deliverables for YEP regarding the exact work they are expected to do (i.e. classes on financial literacy, civic pride and how to maintain employment), as well as the social service component in regards to the youth. Staff was also directed to bring back the policy regarding the SLBE requirements for Non-Profit organizations.
