For Gunshot Detection Services That Will Consolidate All Three ShotSpotter Phase Area Programs Into A Consolidated Contract On An Annual Basis From April 19, 2016 To April 18, 2017, At A Cost Of Four Hundred Ninety-Four Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($494,600.00) Per Year, With An Option To Renew For Three Additional One-Year Terms, For A Total Contract Amount Not To Exceed One Million Nine Hundred Seventy-Eight Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($1,978,400); And 2) Waiving The Competitive Request For Proposal/Qualifications (RFP/Q) Process, The Advertising And Bidding Requirements, And Local And Small Local Business (L/SLB) Enterprise Program Provisions For The Agreement With SST, Inc. 15-0711 Attachments: View Report View Supplemental Report The Committee approved recommendations as amended to revised the first Resolved paragraph to read as follows: "RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator, or designee, to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with SST, Inc., to consolidate all three ShotSpotter phase area programs into a consolidated contract for the period of April 19, 2016 through April 18, 2017, for four hundred ninety-four thousand six hundred dollars ($494,600), for the monitoring services of the ShotSpotter gunshot detection system. The option to renew for three additional one-year terms in an amount not to exceed $1,483,800 (one million four hundred eighty-three thousand eight hundred dollars) shall be subject to availability of funds and approval by the City Council of the funds in the Oakland Police Department's baseline budget proposal; and be it" A motion was made by Guillén, seconded by Gallo, that this matter be Approve as Amended the Recommendation of Staff, and Forward to the Meeting of the Oakland City Council, to be heard 4/5/2016.
