Staff should widely publicize the comment period on the City's webpage and in the media. Staff shall then bring this item back to the Committee for further review on April 14, 2015. The Committee also requested that staff provide a written analysis of the implementation of the additional seven recommendations made by the Advisory Committee. A motion was made by Guillèn, seconded by Gallo, that this matter be Continued to the *Public Safety Committee, to be heard 4/14/2015. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4 - Gallo, Guillén, Kalb, and Brooks Receive Additional Policy Recommendations Which Require Future Council Action From The DAC Ad Hoc Advisory Committee Intended To Support The Policy, Assure Ongoing Compliance With The Policy, Establish Penalties For Policy Violations, And Potentially Extend The Components Of The Policy To A Broader Range Of City Functions 14-0479 The Committee directed staff to provide the draft policy and additional recommendations to the public and allow for public comment for 30 days.
