The motion carried by the following vote: Votes: Councilmember Excused: Member Reid Councilmember Aye: Member Kaplan, Vice Mayor Nadel and Chair Kernighan The committee approved recommendations as amended to amend the resolution to state that the "Oakland Police Department is not seeking a waiver of advertising and bidding requirements for the water filtration system and the lab glass sterilizer".
