The motion carried by the following vote: Votes: Councilmember Aye: Vice Mayor Nadel, Member Kernighan, Chair Brunner and President Pro Tempore De La Fuente The Committee directed staff to: 1. add a sentence in section 14.4 that commits the unions to 50% local hire 2. more explicitly state that 100% of new apprentices must be Oakland residents 3.
