The motion carried by the following vote: Votes: ORAICouncilmember Excused: 1 - Councilmember Reid ORAICouncilmember Ayes: 7 - Councilmember Brooks, Councilmember De La Fuente, Councilmember Kaplan, Councilmember Kernighan, Councilmember Nadel, Councilmember Quan and President of the Council Brunner A motion was made by Councilmember Kaplan, seconded by Councilmember Nadel directing staff to spend the next two weeks confirming a plan to use the subject lot for a temporary public art installation space at no additional cost to the Redevelopment Agency, pursuant to the Council-approved plan and funding for public art in this area.
