consideration, the designated Councilmember shall have"" striking ""60"" replacing
""45"" adding days from the date the vacancy occurs to recommend one or more
nominees to the Mayor in writing. Upon such nomination or the expiration of the""
striking ""60"" replacing ""45"" adding day nomination period, whichever occurs first,
the Mayor shall have 90 days thereafter to submit any eligible candidate for the
Council's confirmation"".
A motion was made by Dan Kalb, seconded by Nikki Fortunato Bas, that this
matter be Adopted as Amended. The motion carried by the following vote:
Excused: 2- - Gallo, and Kaplan
Aye: 5 - Thao, Taylor, Fortunato Bas, Kalb, and Reid
