President Kaplan made a motion to approve option #2, the Oakland Police
Commissions resolution. There was no second to this motion.
Councilmember Gallo made a substitute motion, seconded by Councilmember
Taylor to Continue the resolutions on Item 12, and hearing no objections, the
motion passed by with the following vote: 8 Ayes: Bas, Gallo, Kalb, McElhaney,
Reid, Taylor, Thao, and Council President Kaplan
