Recommendation: Action On A Report Requesting Approval Of The Proposed 2009 Federal
Legislative Agenda For The City Of Oakland

A motion was made by Member Chang, seconded by Vice Mayor Reid,
that this matter be * Approve as Armended the Recommendation of Staff,
and Forward to the Concurrent Meeting of the Oakland Redevelopment
Agency/ City Council, due back on December 9, 2008 as a Consent
Calendar item. The motion carried by the following vote:
Votes: Excused; 1 - Chair De La Fuente
Aye; 3 - Member Chang, Vice Mayor Reid and Member Brunner
The Committee approved recommendations and directed staff to add the
following items to the chart for consideration: 3.8 million for the Cryer
Boatworks Site - Public Beach Access and the East Oakland Sports Complex.
Staff was also requested to include all areas that we are seeking funding for on
the chart, (i.e. housing and green jobs)
