A motion was made by Councilmember Nadel, seconded by
Councilmember Brooks, that this matter be Approved as Amended. The
motion carried by the following vote:
Votes: ORAICouncilmember Ayes: 8 - Councilmember Brooks, Councilmember
Brunner, Member Chang, Councilmember Kernighan, Councilmember Nadel,
Councilmember Quan, Councilmember Reid and President of the Council De La
Fuente
Council approved staff recommendations and directed staff to strike the
following language from the RFP ""However, destination retail would be
inappropriate for the site due to access constraints;"" and to specify in the RFP
that work done on the land should be done by local small businesses
