Recommendation: Discussion And Action On A Report And Recommendations On Establishing
Mayor And Council Budget Priorities And Goals For The City Of Oakland Biennial Budget For
Fiscal Year 2007-2009 And A Request For Council Direction On Key Budget Issues

A motion was made by Member Reid, seconded by Member Chang, that
this matter be *Received and Filed. The motion carried by the following
vote:
Votes: Aye; 8 - Committee Member Brooks, Committee Member Reid, Committee
Member Quan, Committee Member Nadel, Committee Member Kernighan,
Committee Member De La Fuente, Committee Member Chang and Committee
Member Brunner
Council heard the presentation of the Fiscal Year 2007-2009 Budget. Council
and City Staff participated in a facilated workgroup exercise to develop goals
for the 2007 - 2009 Fiscal Year. Attachment A and A-I includes the working
notes prepared by the meeting facilitator.
