Prior to discussing this item, the Council made an urgency finding pursuant to the
Sunshine Ordinance and Brown Act.
Agency/Councilmember Quan made a motion, seconded by Agency/Councilmember
Reid, to approve an urgency finding pursuant to Section 2.20.070 E(2) regarding this
matter (A) that the action is purely commendatory in nature (B) that the need for such
action came to the attention of the body after the posting of the 10-day agenda.
Agency/Councilmember Quan made a motion, seconded by Agency/Councilmember
Reid, to adopt the urgency resolution, and hearing no objections, the motion passed by
Ayes: Agency/Councilmember: Brooks, Brunner, Chang, Nadel, Quan, Reid, Wan, and
President of the Council De La Fuente -8
